About Pauso

A shared pause that fits the working day

Pauso helps workplace teams make a short breathwork practice part of a calendar they already share.

Why we built it

Individual meditation apps depend on one person remembering to open an app and build a private habit. That works for some people, but it often falls away during a busy week. Teams already have a stronger coordination tool: the recurring calendar event. Pauso uses that existing rhythm to make a brief practice easy to start together.

An organizer creates one durable session link and puts it on the calendar. When the event begins, teammates open the same link in a modern browser. The session starts in sync and guides everyone through the same short practice. No facilitator has to lead it, and nobody has to install software.

What the product does and does not do

Pauso is workplace wellbeing software, not medical care. Sessions provide guided breathing and body-awareness content designed for short breaks between meetings. They do not diagnose or treat a health condition, and they are not a substitute for professional advice or crisis support.

A session has no microphone, camera, chat, or meeting bot. Pauso never records audio or video because the browser session does not capture either one. Participants see who from their organization is present, while team reporting stays focused on aggregate participation rather than the content of a private conversation.

How we work

We keep the product narrow: one reusable link, short synchronized sessions, and plain controls that work in the browser. We publish how the product handles data, provide a direct support address, and document the small public API separately from private account features. Pauso is currently pre-launch, so feedback from early teams shapes what comes next.
